Call for Papers

We are pleased to announce the call for papers for the upcoming June 2024 issue of TESOL Today, a leading scholarly journal dedicated to the advancement of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and applied linguistics. We invite researchers, educators, practitioners, and scholars from around the globe to contribute original research articles, review papers, and case studies that address the following areas of interest:

• All aspects of English language teaching and learning
• Testing and evaluation of language skills
• Language skills development
• Curriculum design and materials development in TESOL
• English language planning and policy
• English in educational contexts
• English as a second/foreign language learning
• Applied linguistics in the context of English language teaching
• Research in English language teaching methodologies and approaches
• English classroom management strategies
• Pragmatics instruction in English language teaching
• Integration of technology in language teaching

We welcome submissions that present innovative approaches, empirical studies, theoretical frameworks, and practical insights relevant to any of the aforementioned areas. Manuscripts should adhere to the highest standards of academic rigor and clarity.

Submission Guidelines:

• Manuscripts should be submitted online through the system.
• Please adhere to the journal's formatting guidelines and include an abstract of no more than 200 words.
• Original research articles, review papers, and case studies should not exceed 8000 words, including references.
• All submissions will undergo a rigorous, double-blind peer review process.
