MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

Preliminary Submission Guidelines

To submit your manuscript to Emerging Technologies and Engineering Journal, prepare it electronically in Word format (.doc, .docx, .rtf) and submit via the online submission system after registration. Ensure your manuscript is formatted as a single column, single-spaced page with Times New Roman font type and a 12-point font size and not exceeding 8000 words. For blind peer review purposes, do not include the authors' names in the submission. References and citations must adhere to the IEEE style. Download the manuscript template here:

Units of Measurement

Use the International System of Units (SI) for all measurements, presented simply and concisely.

Abstract

Your manuscript should include an abstract that is self-contained, citation-free, and does not exceed 200 words.

Introduction

This section should be succinct and without subheadings.

Materials and Methods

Detail all procedures comprehensively so they can be replicated. Divide this part into subsections if describing multiple methods.

Results and Discussion

This section may be subdivided with subheadings or combined, depending on the content.

Conclusions

Summarize the main conclusions, emphasizing the work's importance and relevance.

Acknowledgements

Include any acknowledgements at the end of the paper, before the references. This may cover supporting grants, presentations, etc.

References

Ensure references are accurately included in the manuscript. Manuscripts submitted without references will be returned. The Emerging Technologies and Engineering Journal follows IEEE referencing and citation guidelines.

Authors' Details

During the article submission process, details of all authors, including their emails, affiliations, ORCID numbers, and other relevant information, should be registered. The corresponding author should provide biographies for all authors during registration. Refer to previous publications for examples.

Preparation of Figures

Include all figures and tables in the manuscript file upon submission. Figures should be in bitmap formats (TIF, GIF, JPEG, EPS, etc.) with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi unless a lower resolution is scientifically justified. If figures have labels, ensure they are embedded in separate layers.

Preparation of Tables

Tables must be sequentially cited within the text and include a descriptive title. If numerical measurements are present, include units in the column heading. Avoid using vertical rules.

Equations

Number equations consecutively throughout the text.

English Grammar

Authors are encouraged to use grammar-checking software, such as Grammarly, or seek assistance from a native English speaker to proofread the manuscript before submission. This step will help expedite the review process.

Original Contribution

Clearly articulate the originality of your scientific contribution within the manuscript.

Effective Writing

Strive for clear, accurate, and concise writing that can be easily understood by your audience. Avoid unnecessarily complex or overly formal language. Communicate your ideas as you would in a conversation with a friend for the best clarity.

Plagiarism

Emerging Technologies and Engineering Journal utilizes Turnitin software for plagiarism detection. Plagiarism, defined as the practice of using someone else’s work or ideas as one’s own without proper attribution, will be rigorously checked.
